Powder dosing systems
We consider powdery those products made of fine or very fine particles such as:
- Food: Cocoa in powder, Powder Milk, acao en polvo, leche en polvo, ground coffee, confectioners' sugar, flour, colorings, additives, phytosanitaries, etc.
- Industrial: Cement, plaster, soap or detergent, fertilizings, pigments, insecticides and fungicides
Powdery products are dosed volumetrically using an auger system, reaching a high accuracy and a high output.
In case of requiring an absolute accuracy for powdery products, we offer special equipments to weigh the product before transferring, guaranteeing an exact net weight. An example of this use is the dosing of "ferodo" powder (the powder of which is made the brake shoes), where the accuracy is critical for the right working of the shoes.
To dose heavy weights of powdery products in our packaging machines, we offer special equipments to weigh the product after transferring, meaning that the product is weighed in the final package. It is a useful solution to pack expensive products.
